Here I am!
Hi!
It is a little nerve racking for me to do this (blogging) it is out of my element of comfort. But I told myself this was my year for change, to do things I would not or have never done. To step outside of my comfort zone and see just how much better I can be.
I started a business designing, sewing and selling Aprons. I have been making aprons since 1995 but to have strangers look at them critique them touch them, then buy them, love them and buy more what an emotional ride! I LOVE IT!!!
I signed up took lesson and got my motorcycle license, that was something WOW!!! What an experience. I have been a passenger for about ten plus years, never thought I would see the day I rode a bike myself in fact just last year I would have said no-way,
Now I can’t believe I did it. It was and still is an awesome experience.
I guess this little bit of information is a good start.

I’m the oldest sister of a family of fifteen children; I have four amazing children of my own whom have blessed me with nine wonderful granddaughters.
For me sewing has always been a hobby anything that allows me to be creative. I also enjoy crafts, photo collages, cooking, gardening, decorating and photography.
My favorite is making original one of a kind items. I have been making custom pieces for homes sense the early 1980’s from curtains to table ensembles, bed sets to clothes, and art for the wall using whatever is necessary for the coordinating factor. My mother was a master seamstress, she taught me how to make anything with or without a pattern.
Personally I like starting with patterns then I alter to fit my needs or ideas. This saves me a lot of time. I have always been very detail oriented striving for quality. Artists are very strong in my family, my artistic talent comes out in my color schemes, altered styles and detail work.
This blogging is easy stuff. Just write about what you know and you can't go wrong!
If you wrote updates about what it's like being an apron business owner, I'd like to read about that.
